Face Warming

*Note: Though it has started to worm up during the day it is still rather cold at night and last night as we sat on the couch talking Caline sat behind us doing this:

 The Frenchman, “Caline you look funny worming
your face by the heater like that.”

 The Frenchman, “You look like you’re just sitting there
letting the heat wash over you. You should be
careful that you don’t get too hot!”

Caline, “You can never get too hot!”

 The Frenchman’s wife, “Frère you’re so cute
laying in my chair like that!”

Frère, “This isn’t your chair!!!”

Rules are made to be...

*Note: In our home Caline and Frère have a few rules to follow. For example, do not jump on the kitchen counter top, coffee table or the dining room table. For the most part they listen and obey. But today when I came from having worked in the office I found this:

 The Frenchman’s wife, “Frère! What do
you think you’re doing?”

 Frère, “What!?”
The Frenchman’s wife, “You’re
sleeping on my table!”

 Frère, “Oh, I know that!”

 Frère, “I thought you were going to say
that there was something scary!”
The Frenchman’s wife, “Get off the table!!!
You know you’re not allowed!”

Frère, “Ok, I’m going!”

Basking in the Heat

 The Frenchman, “Caline you look so funny!”

Caline, “I don’t care, the heat feels so good!!!”

Pigeon Duty

The Frenchman’s wife, “I was looking for
the two of you, what are you doing
at the bed room window?”
Frère, “Pigeon watching. I’m off duty,
it’s Caline’s watch now.”

Close Napping

*Note: Today as I sat working in the office Caline and Frère squeezed themselves together in this little corner and this is how they napped for about 3 hours.

It started like this:

Frère, “…Zzzz…”

Caline, “…Zzzz…”



Then it went like this:

Frère, “…Zzzz…”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Oh, your head fell!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Caline you haven’t
moved nearly as much as Frère has.”
Caline, “…Zzzz…”



Finaly it was like this:

The Frenchman’s wife, “Oh my, Frère you're so silly.”
Frère, “…Zzzz…”

Little Boss

 The Frenchman’s wife, “Caline why
did you climb up there?”

 Caline, “Because I wanted
to watch you work!”

 Caline, “I have a good view
of you from up here.”
The Frenchman’s wife, “Well how do
you like what I do?”

 Caline, “You do a good job!”

 Caline, “I really like to watch the mouse move
around on the screen and you do
a good job at making it move!”
The Frenchman’s wife, “Well how would
you like to come and play
a game with me?”

 Caline, “A game!!!”

 Caline, “Just one moment, I’m coming!”

Caline, “Don’t get started without me!!!”
