Another Nap

The Frenchman, “Oh my!”

The Frenchman, “I was going to use
one of those pillows...”

The Frenchman, “…but it seams that
you’ve taken them all for yourself.”

Frère, “Well this is my spot!”

Frère, “And these are mine!”

Another Something New

*Note: Since our apartment doesn’t have closites we were living out of one dresser and a lot of supecases. Resently we found this wordrobe and fell in love with it. Here’s what Caline and Frère thought when they saw it:

Caline, “This is new.”

Caline, “How do you get in it?”

Caline, “Maybe from back here?”

Caline, “No.”

Caline, “Maybe I can jump
from here to the top!”

Caline, “Oh, I want so bad to go up!”

*Note: Since she was begging so much to go up I picked her up and put her on top.

The Frenchman’s wife, “Well how do
you like it up there?”

Caline, “It’s very nice, I think
I’ll stay a while.”

*Note: Later Frère became intrested in our new pice of fruncher:

The Frenchman, “What do you
think of our wordrobe?”

Frère, “I like it because I now have
a place to hide under.”
The Frenchman, “Why would
you want that?”

Frère, “So I can jump out and attack
Caline when she’s not looking!”

*Note: Just after the last picture Frère jumped out at Caline.
The wordrobe is handcarved from around the 1920’s. It is made of oak and has flowers, feathers, sun bursts and sworls carved on it. The stile is simaler to our new sidebord to see it click here.

The Frenchman’s wife, “Ahhw! Caline,
you’re so cute!!!”

Caline, “Oh, you're embarrassing me!”

Caline, “I’m not cute, I’m adorable!”

Caline Attacks Tiger… Again!

 Caline, “I see you!”
Tiger, “Oh great here we go again!”

 Caline, “Gurrr!”
Tiger, “Ahhh!!!”

 Caline, “Kick, kick, kick!”
Tiger, “Ahhhhhh!!!”

 Caline, “You’re mine!”

A while later…

 Caline, “I’ve got you!”

 Caline, “You’re all mine!”

 Caline, “Gurrr!!!”
Tiger, “Ahhh!!!”

Caline, “You can’t get away from me! Kick, kick!!!”
Tiger, “Help!!!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Caline, why did you all of
a sudden kick Tiger over there!”

Caline, “I finished my game.”
Tiger, “She finished me!!!”

*Note: Caline loves to play with Tiger. But she often plays very roughly and I have had to sew him back together many times, to see click here.

Un Jour de Neige

*Note: When it started snowing last night all Caline could do was stair out the window, and this morning she was so excited that she pawed at the windows and meowed for us to take her out and then staired some more just like this:

Caline, “Oh I want so bad to go out!”

*Note: So we decided to take her and Frère out in the snow, this was what they thought:

 Caline, “Hurry up, let’s go!”
Frère, “I’m not so sure about this,
it’s scary and cold!”

*Note: After this picture Frère ran back inside and sat waiting for Caline. But she was too excited and wanted to explore.

Caline, “Why is the ground white?”
The Frenchman’s wife, “It's called snow, this
is the first time you’ve ever seen it.”

Caline, “What happened to the fountain?”
The Frenchman’s wife, “It froze!”

Caline, “I can walk on the water!”

Caline, “Now, where are those fish?!”
The Frenchman’s wife, “They’re
under the ice.”

 Caline, “Under all of this!”

Caline, “Well, I guess I’ll have to
wait for the ice to melt.”

*Note: Shortly after the last picture Caline ran back to the door because Frère was meowing for her, he’s scared to be alone.
To see the last time we took Caline outside click here.

Ficelle dans le Seau

The Frenchman’s wife, “Frère, what are
you playing with?”

Frère, “This!”

Caline, “What is it?”

Caline, “I want to see!”

Caline, “Oh, it’s just a piece of string.”

Frère, “It’s not just a piece of string!”

Frère, “See, it matches the bucket!”
Caline, “Still not very interesting.”

*Note: Caline and Frère have enjoyed playing in our green buckets since they were really little to see click here.

Under the Quilt

The Frenchman’s wife, “Well I wonder who
could be under there?”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Oh, hello Frère.”

Frère, “Do you mind!”

Frère, “I like it when I’m covered!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Sorry I’ll cover you back up.”
Frère, “Thank you!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “How’s that?”
Frère, “This is now how I had it!”
