then that bird would be mine!!!”

On the Door Again

*Note: This morning I heard a noise in the bathroom and went to see what it was and this was what I found.

 The Frenchman’s wife, “Frère, what are you looking at?”

 The Frenchman’s wife, “Oh, hello Caline!
What are you doing up there?”

 Caline, “Inspecting the ceiling!”

 Caline, “And the top of the door!”
The Frenchman’s wife, “Why would you
want to do that?”

Caline, “Because they need to be
inspected by someone!”

 Frère, “Gurr! You’re mine now, feather thing!”

 Frère, “Yuck, nasty tast!”

Frère, “But you’re still mine!”

Who’s bucket is it after all?

 The Frenchman’s wife, “I set the bucket down
and this is what I find in it every time!
You know I need it sometimes.”

 Caline, “Really!”

Caline, “But it’s where I take the best naps!
I think I need it more than you do!”
