No More Room!

The Frenchman’s wife, “Frère, you almost don’t fit in

the cubby when you lay like that.”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Be careful you may role out.”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Caline, I really don’t think that

there is enough room in there for you.”

The Frenchman’s wife, “You just pushed him out!!!”

Caline, “Yes and now there’s room for me!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Is there someone tucked

under there?”

The Frenchman’s wife, “Oh, it’s you Caline.”

The Frenchman’s wife, “It is really nice to sleep under

the pillows and blanket on the couch?”

Caline, “Oui.”

(Translation: Yes.)

The Slipper

*Note: Late at night the Frenchman woke up and in the dark this is what he found...

The Frenchman, “What are you playing with?”

Caline, “Nothing.”

The Frenchman, “That’s my slipper, please give it back

I don’t want cold feet.”

Caline, “Never!!!”

L'Amour de Frère!

The Frenchman’s wife, “Does it taste good Frère?”

Frère, “Oui, c’est parfait!”

(Translation: Yes, it’s perfect!)

The Frenchman’s wife, “Do you like it a lot?”

Frère, “Je ne l’aime pas, mais je l’adore!”

(Translation: I do not like it, but I love it!)

Le Tapis

The Frenchman, “Caline, did you mess up the rug while

playing with Tiger?”

Caline, “What would give you that idea?”

Tiger, “It was her! And she was trying to kill me again!!!”

Frère’s New Favorite Place

*Note: When the big green box is pulled out Frère scratches on the side to ask for the lid to be moved. When it is moved he climbs in and watched out of the hole.

The Frenchman’s wife, “Is there someone in there?”

Frère, “Me!”

Frère, “Now come play with me!!!”

The Quilt

The Frenchman’s wife, “What are you two doing on

the quilt I'm making!?”

Caline, “I wasn’t doing anything but playing with this

strange fruit.”

Frère, “It’s ok we know that you intend this quilt for us!”

Caline, “We really like it! We are very thankful for this

quilt which you are making for us!!!”

Frère, “It is such a nice quilt!”

The Frenchman’s wife, “You two are bad! I’m not making

this quilt for you!!!”

Caline, “Well who are you making it for then?”
